Will GT/Outback headlights fit directly into an L?

I'm looking to put the GT/Outback headlights in my 2000 L Sedan. I mainly just want them because of the black housing that looks cool.

I found a pair for cheap at a wrecking yard, but I need to know if they will fit directly or will I need some sort of modification to put them in?

i believe they will but you'll have to mod the wiring since GT's have seperate high and low beam lights.

you need to split the headlight wiring from your current single bulb to the two bulb setup on the GT. It's not hard if you know a little bit of wiring.

The headlights pop-in otherwise.

Thanks for the feedback.
I ended up clipping the harnesses off and just crimped the wires together.
Took no more than 45 min.
