Alternative Springs for BD

If anyone is interested in trying an alternative to Whiteline, Eibach, H&R, Tein etc...

I have previously used King Springs on my 99 Impreza wagon, they handled fantastically even on stock struts. A little harsher on the bumps, but a good mid-sized drop and progressive spring rates.

I got a quote via email from them (they're based in Australia/NZ - and don't yet have a US distributor).

The delivery price is quite high, I think if they were shipped ground/sea they'd be a lot cheaper. As a comparison, I paid NZ$400 flat for a set of four for my wagon. So the price is pretty much the same (given that the quote is in Aussie dollars).

that's a lot for shipping. But I would like to upgrade my springs and struts without dropping much. What kind of drops on the mid range ones are we looking at? (I still favor the prodrive because they're only 1" and the whiteline because they're made for the wagons) I would love to have stock height, but better handling :)

King Springs make "Low" and "Normal" height springs. They used to make "Super Low" which were approx. 50-60mm drops. "Lows" are approx. 30-40mm.

The shipping is expensive because you'd have the springs within a week... :wink:

Just letting u guys know that if u were gonna get king springs for ur 95 to 99 liberty... don't get kings if u want slammage!! U can only get sports low... which lowers it only about 2 inchs give or take.
