ok i've got a 95 L with a 2.2 and obdII i just changed the plugs and wires and about an hour after i was done it threw another cel i did a test on the coil and it pulled .215 ohms over cyl 1 and 2 and .218 over cylinders 3 and 4 i just want to know wouldn't that produce a misfire on all cylinders? my chilton's book says it's supposed to be like .5 to .79 but ya any help will due and plug #1 look like it got cooked from too hot of a spark. i cleared the code and it went a little longer if i stood on the gas a little bit but i'm just tryin to figure out if it's the coil or the ignition module. thanks fellas

i get that code all the time, but for #4cyl. i changed plugs, wires, and coil. after all that still got it. it means the injector is bad.

i don't think thats it because my emisions test said i was failing on unburnt fuel so i assume i'm gettin gas air and no spark and by the way my plug looked i think it's my coil but i tested it and it says 1 ohm betwean wire 1 and wire 2 and 2 to 3 on the wiring harness thing on the coil and 20.88 k ohms on cyl 3 and 4 and the same on 1 and 2 so would that mean a bad coil i'm gonna pull the injector in a little bit but what troubles me is my book says normal is 17-24 kilo-ohms is normal for the wiring harness thing and .59-.79 ohms for the resistance betwean the plug wire connections so it's like bass akwards from the book almost

a misfire can also be caused by your injectors being faulty.... doesnt matter if you get spark if everytime the piston chamber gets flooded or no fuel gets to the piston chamber. i would remove the cylander one spark plug and use a light to look into the piston chamber to check if theres any gasoline in it. gl

yeah i broke down and bought all new injectors coil ignition control and evrything i figure it's got 175000 and it seems to have all the original equipment but yeah i drove it around for an hour and now my oil stinks like gas so it probably is an injector thanks
