i just swapped my wheel in my 95 lsi and i needed to switch the pigtails. i also got rid of the cruise control switch ( the cruse no longer works)
i started the car and now my airbag light is constantly on.. does anyone know what two wires would be causing this?
( when deleting the cruse switch there are 2 wires left unused thats all i can think of)
thanks !!

did you do all this with the batt connected? might need to reset ecu. check the airbag fuse.

Well the capacitor on the momo could be bad. and I think(not sure on a 95) the OBDII ecu sends a constant .0007amp current to check if the resistance is still within specs and when it is not it sends an inop signal to the ecu.

sorry. just one of the few things I remember from school.

When I bought my momo wheel awhile ago, I got it from subysouth. He indicated that the 95-97 cars the voltages are different for the airbags and newer Momo wheels were not compatible.

That is why he sold me his wheel.

what year momo is it. is it a pre-02 or 02+ because if 02+ the clock spring is different and when spliced and if its not corrected right (should be soldered) it will have more resistance .. you should have 5.83e-33 ohms to be specific. or around 5.8 ohms
