I think my number 3 cyl piston ring is shot. Smoke out of the tail pipe and misfire at idle, but power at driving engine speed.

Compression check to come.

This is seriously going ot hurt my sale...I wonder if I can even get $500 now.

That sucks man, I feel for you. My old car's transmission essentially failed days before the buyer was going to get it. :-(
