i would go with knock offs. borla is known for having bad welds at the flanges

Knock-offs no doubt.

Or get a used Borla header that has already cracked and been repaired. The Borla header cracked at its weakest point, if it has been repaired it is likely to never crack again. I purchased my Borla header used for $50, repaired of the infamous "Borla crack."

The knock offs have thicker flanges than the Borlas. When it comes down to it you pay for the Borla name, which is said because it's inferior.

funny thing, if you buy a borla from a real dealer you get a 1 million mile warrenty. so that is something else to consider.

Funny thing about that is then when it does crack you have to take it off and sent it in to get fixed or wait for them to send a new one back. I rather pay less and getting something made better and don't have to worry about it.
true that... I bought a knockoff for 200 less than borla...

i bought the knock off borlas for 200 and they sound terrfic, the only thing is that the engine makes a funny noise when drivin. idk if i didnt tighten them down good enough or what, but when you start to drive it sounds like an air leak but if it was leaking from the header wouldnt it be louder?
idk ill get a sound clip shortly

exhaust leak. Check around the heads and at the catpipe.

Depending how long you wait if you can pin point it by ear you will see black carbon on a seam where it is leaking. A quick easy fix for this (if it's already tight) use black RTV on the joint where it is leaking. Do it when it is cold and let it dry for a bit.
