Also sporting "new" '06 Impreza wheels & tires. Initial impressions are that the ride is very nice, of course, it should be--the old assemblies had more than 115K on them. These have less than 15K. Handling at anything over 20mph is great. Below that, anything snappy makes it feel like the sidewalls are collapsing. I'm going to test out the handling on the long way home this afternoon.

The rear sags a little...probably around an inch. The stance is also a bit lower...but probably not even an inch all the way around, I think. I didn't have the presence of mind to check wheelgaps before the install. I will check the oilpan (I'm assuming it's the lowest point on the undercarriage)clearance tonight to see where we're at.

Okay, I figured out the "lateral rolling" sensation of the tires. They were folding under because they were underinflated. To 28/30psi HOT. So with that fixed the car handles much better. It's a little weird because the harder I push it, the better it works. Hard to describe but if I do a really stupid maneuver, the car is totally settled for it.

looks good. Where did you find the suspension for sale ? was it off a sedan or wagon ?

Thanks. And actually, I put up a WTB on Nasioc for a wagon suspension and had a few bites in the $200-$300 range. BTW, Saab 9-2x's are wagons only.

Wow, congrats. Seems like a great upgrade to me. I also second the Paranoid Fabrications suspension spacers, I have the 1/4" spacers on my car and the ride height is very even.
