Further investigating suspension upgrades

I've heard it mentioned, that the BD/BG cars is really a GC8 chassis. It would make sense since so many parts seem to fit.

I wonder if some of the GC8 chassis braces might fit our cars. Anyone have an idea if they do?

I'm tempted to invest in a couple of pieces. And if they don't fit, I'll just try to resell them locally to someone who might have a GC8 impreza.

I believe Reason had a H-frame brace installed on his GT before it wrecked.

I'm not sure what that Cusco bar really does as it looks like it goes in place of the RSB...

I think the brace that goes over the tunnel INSIDE the cabin on the GC fits the BD.

I don't know about that cusco piece fitting but I can point you to one that will with some modifications. And that H brace won't fit. There's another H brace that will. It looks like more of an "H" and has a double cross bar. I might get one but I have a front tie bar and I don't think they both will fit.

I'm willing to experiment with you, we both get one and see what works.

I'll track down one of those H braces. A description or picture link to the brace that installs inside of the cabin would be great.

The GC's and BD's are very very very similar, they have been built to be this way, but they are certainly not the same chassis.

I've got a sedan rear strut brace (http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa208/Pilot_Reuben/strutbrace.jpg) in my wagon btw (well, someone told me it was for a sedan, i have no idea tbh). Don't ask me what brand, i picked up for $40 from a subie wrecker. Front strut braces are entirely universal too btw, BE/BH/BD/BG/GC/GF all fit each other, my mates got a V4 sti carbon fibre brace in his BH, looks like porn :lol:. Oh and i've also seen whiteline BG anti-roll bars in a GF.

Any of ideas's if it'll fit a 99 GT Wagon? I see it says Outback, But no LGT and seemed weird to me..
