I would say no, because 1) there are hardly any "american" exhausts for our model car, 2) it says it will fit imprezas, which are inherently shorter with different style exhaust hangers, 3) our outbacks went from 95-99, not 2001.
What they meant to say was impreza outback sport.

You can buy that and if it doesn't fit just have the exhaust shop help you out. The place by my house Any exhaust I get they can put on for $60 welded and $80 with bolts and flages.

What might be cheaper is if you get just a Muffler and have a shop weld on some hangers and just have them bend up some exhaust and have them weld it or put on flanges to make it stock like!

Might be cheaper? Should definitely be cheaper to have a local shop do it. I dropped the my Outback off at a shop, he supplied the muffler, cut, bent and installed all the pipes from the cat-back, and did a 4 wheel alignment for about 1/2 the cost of the system in that link.
