does anyone have this book that can scan it or know where to find it on the net so we can all read it?

dont waste your time and/or money! (i.e. the author points to a picture of an abs block and calls it a "fuel distribution block"....)

that book is mega lame. it reads like a crappy parts catalog. the slim amounts of info can be learned from nasioc in 20 min or so.

what were you hoping to find/learn? ive got a pretty big collection of tech-info, maybe i can point you to a better source.

im hoping to have a better general knowledge of subaru in general , my car 1998 LOB, and also what car parts are interchangeable between my car and others

+1 .. ive got one and so far its answered all my questions and helped me do a lot of work on the car on my own. as far as interchangeability, i think thats something to discover on a case by case basis; im not sure if there is any book that tells you which subie parts are interchangeable between different models.

Once you get a basic understanding (which can be gleaned from spending a couple days searching through threads on here, Nasioc, LegacyCentral, etc) of the car, a factory service manual can go a long way...

I don't think any book has gotten into the nasty spiderweb of interchangable parts - Subarus may be like Legos, but there's still a lot of exceptions and small details.
