I was wondering, since many subaru parts are interchangeable between cars, can these work on a 98 GT wagon or no? http://tinyurl.com/3gj7no

Also does it matter if there no name or a decent brand (Cusco comes to mind)?

Thanks

Those will work - cheap strut bars are good if you're not into bling.

CF bars are much nicer, and are the only reason I would spend $$$.

So the '02 + Impreza strut bars will work on both front and rear right?

Depends on the car. I know the fronts will work - depending on the height of the front brace mounts, as the BD has less underhood clearance than the GC/GD.

Rears are a different story, it depends on the overall width of the car. I know an 02+ WRX wagon strut brace works fine on my BK, which is the same as the BD... but the BD does have a chunk of metal around the strut tops.

i think i have impreza front strut bars, i bought it from andvic a while back, it the CF Cusco, its a tight fit but it works, the only issue i have is its pressing on the windshield washer sprayer tube thing.

That's what I mean. Some bars are "higher" than others - typically the ones with reinforced brackets have this issue.
