2.5 heads warped can block??

i just brought my 2.5 heads to a machine shop to have them checked for warping. they were and they machined them for me.
my question is can my 2.5 block warp too? the mating surface between block and head? i would like to get my 25 back up and running :lol:

its unlikely but yes it can happen

That would take so much extreme heat to warp the block. but it's a possibility, check and make sure with a straight edge metal ruler.

just ordered new headgaskets and head bolts

While you're in there. You might as well do the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, valve cover gaskets..spark plugs, wires, hm...something else too.
