I haven't touched the wing yet. I got my rear windows tinted last Saturday and got the tow hitch mounted and wired on Sunday. I need to complete the 60k tune-up before I touch the wing. Still trying to figure out what color to paint it, but I'll be making a post in Member's Rides soon to get opinions.
Edit - this a NA motor?

Is that a black lip I see on those ?
Mikey97D
07-02-2008, 09:22 AM
The black lip looks good! Good way to hide the weights.
Here's something they've been doing for dirt bikes for a while for rim protection:

Not sure if anyone makes them for cars.

The black lip came out nice, but it makes the tires look huge!

... it was to good to be true
i am accepting responsibility for this
the rear main seal has a leak i think. either i installed it wrong or it was bad. but on the good side the motor fired right up and ran strong.
im exhasuted from working in the heat so in a few days il be pulling the trans and replacing the seal and RTVing the fu*k out of the screw on covers.. im out of funds and low on patience.. will keep you guys updated though. thanks for the support so far.
HELP NEEDED. i need some help from someone with expeirence. if anyone could make a trip here to give a hand it would be greatly appreciated. pm me for info if your interested.

Argh It happens. I had something similar happen to me replacing a motor in a '79 Thunderbird and I put the oil pan gasket in wrong. What a PIA and I needed the car at the time.
Glad to read it runs good!
