ok so the wrx sedan shocks saposedly position your wheels further out than the wagon shocks do...
my question is, how will this effect my camber, and will it cause my wheel bearings to die much faster ??
I found a set of 07 wrx full suspension with 7k miles on it.....$160 shipped to my door....so I'm not really worried about rear end sag...as long as it doesn't bottom out.... I'll be using some spacers anyway.

It's not the shocks, its the control arms. All WRXsedans and STI's get another 20mm in the front track from the control arms. The struts on these cars are longer to accomodate the arms, so they don't change the geometry and add more negative camber.
The arms generally add at least 1 degree of static negative camber w/ regular shocks. Wheel bearings will last just about the same.

there was a thread that said the shocks themselves have the bolt holes in a different location....... I'll see if I can find it.

yes they will work. the most it should change is 1 degree in camber at most but can be corrected very easy. what do you mean the bolt holes are different. any 100x5 subaru strut 95+ will bolt up to the hubs and the top should to. on the 114x5 the hubs bolt wont work sence there drilled about 15mm farther apart than the 100x5 but the tops are the same

no no the bolt holes that connect the knuckles are like 10mm further in than the wagon ones... I saw a picture on a thread the other day. I can't find it now though.

Those may have been the 05+ sti struts you were looking at.
The 07 wrx's have the same hubs as the other wrx's afaik...
Anyway, the wider track comes from the control arms, I'm pretty certain the WRX suspension will fit without any problems though.
