I seriously doubt it... I have YET to meet another legacy owner who goes for aggressive fitment other than me... and I've been too lazy to break out my roller :)

Make sure you heat up the paint a bit before you do this.

I did it ghetto style back when I first got the car.

Make sure you do it on a nice hot day or have a heat gun on hand to help the paint bend with the metal.

It'll most likely be more even with the actual machine. How much of a roll are you planning to do? I only did it to get the little overhang/lip out of the way.

I know a couple of BE's that have been rolled to flare the wheelarches a little bit, which of course is harder to do.

Maybe because the whole "flush" fad isn't as important as getting the right offset among subaru people

Anyway, I'm running the "look" of a 37mm offset wheel in the front of the car with no rubbing at all, even when I was dialed in at 0 camber. BE/BH's have a lot more wheel clearance than the older subarus, so there's less need to roll the fenders to begin with.

yeah... I'll be able to run only slightly negative camber, not even a full -1 probably after I roll mine... thats with a 8.5 wide wheels and 35 offset

i just like the flared look on cars. also since i havent seen many BE's with flared fenders. im also on planning on haveing the wheels tucked. ill probly be running -2 camber in the front and -1.5 in the rear.

All I'll say is take it slow, and get the lip bent flat before you go for any sort of pull or you'll get some horrible results.....that's how quarters get buckled.

Don't do anything in the front unless you want to lose or restructure your fender liners. You shouldn't need to.

As far as noone running aggressive fitments, my 245's on 17x8's would like to speak with you, as well as my rear roll and pull ;)
It's not a nissan-type stretch and poke, but when I can see tire looking down at the fender, it's wide enough.

Lol, you're in, man. Wagon = respect. I welcome everyone to la familia!
And I'm not an STi owner, I'm a Legacy owner with a fast toy. I've had a half-dozen Subarus, and only 2 have been Imprezas ;)

Here was my morning, any questions?

Test fit before PC, hehe.

My buddy's the one who cuts the stickers and handles distribution though, so you have to PP him to get vinyl ;)

New to the site but this place is fantastic.

Now that I have that outa the way, i have a 98GT and when I got new wheels ( 8.5 offset (don't remember exactly what the offset was)). They now rub in the back end. I replaced struts and springs in the back and it didn't help. What are my options, stiffer springs? Or rolling in the fenders? Thanks guys

First find the offset on the rims, then tell us what size tires you have. If the rubbing in minimal then yes rolling your fenders is one option, another is coilovers for a stiffer suspension. That's if you dont have a crazy rim and tire set up.

I'll check when I get home, but if my memory serves me right they are RR 5 spike 18's w/ a 35mm offset, the treads are nitto neo-gens ( 225-40-zr18)

If you are running those wheels on stock suspension, my bet is that you're rubbing on the strut body/spring. You just don't have enough clearance.

That was my first thought as well, but as I said I replaced the struts and springs and it still occoured so I checked into the problem further. Turns out they are rubbing on the inside lip of the fender so i was thinking just roll them in and it would correct the problem.

Also ( sorry if this is a stupid question ) but exactly how much modification would it take to put say STI struts and springs on all 4. And would that be worth my while?
