Hello everybody
My name is Sindri and I´m a dude from Iceland. I´m 18 years old and I bought a 1991 Legacy GX EJ22 two months ago. My intensions are to make it look as good as new but that could be a bit difficult because it´s in a pretty bad shape. I bought it for about 1000 bucks which isn´t that much in Iceland but I know you could get one of those in better shape for just the half of that. I have spent some money just in repairs and I probably have to pay 1200 bucks this week because the leggy is going to the garage tomorrow.
So, what I am going to do with it is giving it some nice shoes, repaint it, get a hoodscoop and fix what needs to be fixed. My dream is to make it a proper street-legal rallymachine because that´s what they were built for in the beginning ehh? :)
I´m not going to compete in the Icelandic rally championship but me and my friends can have a lot of fun rallying on some gravelroads (there´s a lot of them in Iceland) and in the snow.
What I have done to my beloved Legacy for now: Hella lights on the front bumper, Pioneer sound system, new radiator, new clutch, new shock absorber and some other fixes and fittings. A lot more to come! I´m just a broke student so I can´t afford doing all the things I want to my Leggy at once. Step by step I will make it beautiful and good, I promise.
A little about myself: I play the guitar and I am a drummer in a metalcore/deathmetal band called Wistaria, I´m in highschool, I have long dark hair and my interests are cars (especially Subarus and Audis) and music. I´m a true metalhead and I´m going to Germany in july the 26th to witness the best musicfestival in the whole world: Wacken Open Air. Link ---> http://www.wacken.com.
Pictures coming later, when I get the chance to take them and when the car is feeling better. Sorry about my English, I´m just an Icelander trying to commuticate with you guys. :D
P.s. this forum is awesome and you people are awesome... I´ve been alot on Icelandic forums but the people there are always so childish and dull.
My band´s myspace (only one song for now, more coming this week) if you´re interested: http://www.myspace.com/wistariatheband
