Hey what do you guys think about this type of wing on a BD? I'm really loving it and the whole theme of it too but to bad it's not a BD. Would love to see this type of work done on a BD though. Well, where would they sell a wing like that?

I'm pretty sure its the Sti wing.. and eh.. it might look a bit too big for the legacy.. but if you balanced it out proper with a lower front bumper (maybe JDM) and lip or something.. might look alright. Not what I would do.. but its been done before I think.

I think it will look nice, I was thinking of getting a EVO 7/8/9 and seeing how it would look like on my BD

The BD is too small for a wing that size. You'd need more than just front, rear bumper lips and side skirts, you'd need wider fenders to try to balance out the car.

Hot looking BE though. Could have been a blitzen.
I like the wing mirror covers too.

yeah if you look at imprezas compared to legacies
imprezas are shorter front to back but taller bottom to top

thats why sti wings dont look right on legacies

I agree, maybe have rally mudflaps, dropped, and yes a bigger frontlip or front bumper. Just my idea and opinion, everyone got different taste. Maybe I'll persue this one. And maybe the older 2.5 RS's wing.

I thought about the RS wing, but it's not wide enough. I have a pic at home of how it looks like and I'll post it hopefully tomorrow

And what kind of front bumper is that? It's seems alittle different from the jdm bumpers.

Nah, I like the STI V5 wing better. I don't think it would be that hard ti fit it on a BD.

Just for giggles, I had an 04-07 STi wing (got a good deal on it). I looked into fitting it onto my old BD. With the car lowered really agressively, it somewhat fit in with the design of the BD.

The amount of carful drilling and modifications to the wing required were discouraging. Oh yea, and I had a 2.2L 4EAT. :-(

They also apparently don't know what a "BG" is. I don't think that wing would fit too well on a BG.

Anyone know if the V5 sti wing had to be modified to fit the white legacy above?
I still have the wing from my impreza. It's a zerosports replica wing. If the V5 will fit without being modified my zerosports wing should also fit.

Not sure how it would look on a legacy! I like the way the V5 looks, but it is a little bit high. my zerosports wing isn't quite as high as the V5.
