I am working out some final details of my wrx swap...before commencement begins...

However I need to figure out exhaust...there is a really good shop by me that can make up a custom exhaust for a decent price for me, but wondering what my options are for bolt ons...

Anyone running a turbo back off something else that fit well with the LGT...it has to be 3"

thanks

WRX downpipes can be had for pretty cheap (HKS, etc.) - I have an HKS 3" downpipe and had an exhaust shop weld up the rest - only required two bends and we were done.

just never go with perrin directly. i ordered stuff from them sent the wrong parts. took 3 months to get the correct stuff. they tried to bribe me to keep the old stuff and they would throw in a free accessport map. but then i have to buy a $700 accessport???

Usually custom fabrication is cheaper than some of the name brand stuff.

I bought a turboxs system, and just had a shop lengthen the mid pipe.

You can buy GC-WRX 3in TBE for less than $300, you need to stretch the midpipe about 6 inches and it will fit perfectly. that's what's on my car.

I am going to go with a two tube dp with the waste gate tube. Somtung (sp?) makes a really nice one...

then a invidia cat back. I guess I don't really need a shop to do it, just not sure if my buddy has a tig welder cause I know he could do it...just run it to the exhaust shop on the straigh dp...it should be fun...

anyone have any pics of theirs?
