ok so the fuel pump problem is not the culpret anylonger. but my car wont fire up. it turns over but never fires up. i dont get it. could it be the fuel filter? the car worked fine before the rebuild. and i drove the car 5 miles the other day why is it dying now? any takers on this?

i need someone experienced with these legacy's to come over and take a look at this. its beyond me.

You should do a compression check, check if you have sparks. Unhook the fuel line after the filter to see if fuel squirts out when you turn the car over (should have done that before changing the pump out).

i didnt change the pump i fixed the relay. il check for spark when it cools down a bit. its 101F outside and 68 in my room here :grin:

as far as a compression check goes. id have to get my buddies tester for that.. i did my rebuild to the letter on that service manual.
