well, today I finally have the time to mingle with the new ebay '06-07 Sti v lip. It's polyurethane, which makes it much easier to bend in shape and drilled thru. But still alot of drilling and bending, just to get the shape mold to the bumper. still out of places on the corners, but ok :lol:

I mess up on the part where it centers together. I accidentally cut too much materials off one side. so the other side is shorter. I'm still working on it and getting it mold into one piece. here's a teaser :eek:

and this was my previous 1st attempt at making this v lip, which was the wrong lip to begin with anyways :roll: ..I took this one off now :wink:

The first image makes it look alot longer than the second. Either way I can't wait to see.

its longer sticking out pass the old one yes. and its also thinner and lighter compare to the old one.

It's more of a splitter, so it's supposed to stick out further than a regular lip.

In terms of functionality at least...

right, thats it. and i'll be getting a undertray to smooth things out even more :eek:

d'oh! Reading comprehension strikes again. I didn't see that these were two different lips. I like the new one alot more!

Done! but cracked the lip again :cry: ..you can see where i tape it together..

Now you just need those fancy metal support rods that go at an angle from the lip to your bumper....

are you certain the '04-'05 sti lip wont fit? is there a difference?
