Power loss After HG done by dealer

Wow I havent visited in like for every so much stuff has gone, however my biggest concern and question is, after my hg went and it was fixed by the dealer, they gave me a new timing chain to becuase there was somethng wrong with that, however ever since it was done, my power, or torque i shoud say feel really low.. like im driving a metro, i used to be able to take my friends civic no problem.. like he was driving a go cart... he beat me for the first time the other day... not acceptable..

i know its a ATX, but still. My mods are just a KN drop in panel

I'm guessing that his timing might be off. Pull off the cover and check your timing. If you can't line up the notches all the way around then its your timing. To remove all the timing covers you will have to take off your crank pulley. but after that its just a matter of turning the cam pulleys until you get the notches lines up.

When the HG went, did the motor overheat? other than checking the timing belt like Mr. Knives explained, I would do a compression test too.

Or bring it back to the dealer and tell them they did something wrong!

The dealer will mill the heads. When I did mine, they told me it was standard to mill the heads. The stock HG is 3 layers, the new one(at least for me) was 4 layers, this will change compression slightly. I didn't notice a performance drop, but, I have a ej25D.
