Hey everyone. I am re-thinking my plans, and have scrapped the idea of the twin turbo RHD swap into my BD. I am keeping that as my daily driver. I am considering selling my mustang and getting a 1st gen turbo leg and having that be my tuner car. What would you experienced/learned 1st gen guys(and gals) do with $11k or so? What would the potential be?

seeing what you can do with those blocks....you're in for some fun

Go on bbs.legacycentral and see what some of them have done :)

I'm guessing the first mod you'd want to do would be a 5MT swap, and Legacy777 did an excellent writeup for that :)

Well let's see you have a bullet proof block with cast internals and poor flowing heads. Typically I think they would build it up with forged internals, and swap on some better flowing heads OR do a lot of port n polish on the 2.2t heads. The later would probably be simpler. After that go nuts, swap turbo components etc... the sky is the limit! (Or your transmission...)

forged intertnals, 2.5 rs heads and a t3-td04 turbo, that should do the trick. :-)
