I plan to do a valve job in a few months when I get the money and was wondering what yall recommend for replacement valves that will hold up to the extra HP and TQ. I already plan to get new springs and such.

The actual valves are pretty strong stock. STi, WRX, and NA valves are all different lengths, so they aren't interchangeable.

What about aftermarket for NA?

Um, I don't think there are aftermarket valves for NA.

You need two intake and two exhaust per cylinder. Unless you do porting, don't get the +1 mm ones.

Might be of interest.Sarra had already pointed me towards that site. Thats where I am gonna get the valve springs and such. How much HP and/or TQ gain can I get from the Stage I cams? I doubt the Stage III cams will help me much but yall would know more than me so what do yall think I should get?

To use more than Stage 1 cams you will need engine management. Are you prepared for that? You may also have to use premium fuel or at least 91-92 octane (R/M+2) to prevent knocking.

When I do the cams I had planned on engine management. Just need to find a good EM unit that I can have a couple of different settings saved. On for towing and the other for daily driving. Also have been trying to figure out how to make a pull out and swing out mount for a laptop so that I can tuck it behind the glove box lid so that you can't tell its there and I can lock the glove box door to help keep it safe.

You'll need a pretty damn small laptop. The glovebox isn't exactly large.

You'll need a pretty damn small laptop. The glovebox isn't exactly large.Well I will be modding the glove box so that it can hold a bigger laptop. Basically its just gonna be a door and nothing else. Won't be able to hold anything in the pocket since I will be cutting that out.
