No sure if its been covered before but how do you do an engine flush without harming the engine? I have 203,500 miles on mine and even after 3k miles the engine oil still comes out black. Should I just buy some cheap motor oil and cheap filters and do an oil and filter change, run it for about 5-10 minutes, do another oil and filter change, run it another 5-10 minutes, do one last oil and filter change and run it another 5-10 minutes and then finally change out the oil and filter with what I plan to run (RP oil and K&N filter)? Or is there an easier way? Or will 3 flushes not be enough? I also plan to do the same (almost) for my 5MT. Just fill it with cheap, drive it for about 5-10 miles, drain it and then fill it with the good stuff (RP 75w90). Won't have to worry about flushing out the rear diff since its only got about 15-20k on it. Still going to drain it and put in some RP 75w90. Also how do you drain the PS fluid? Want to replace it with RP PS fluid. And yes gonna also add RP to the radiator after dumping it and refilling it. Basically gonna do a big tune up on my motor. Gonna do 2 treatments of BG 44K which is better than seafoam. Any help, tips, tricks, and advice is much appreciated. Even plan to goto walmart for a fuel injector cleaning. They use the Gumout system.
