I made a custom grounding kit from my extra amp wiring. connected 3 spots. driver sit strut tower. radiator support and on manifold. i also cleaned the old grounding spots on the strut towers. 2 of them were completely uncut and 2 others where heavily oxidized. i used just 8 gauge wire. i immediately noticed a smoother idle. not sure if the grounding kit did it or fixing the stock grounds. but definitely smoother. Has anyone here noticed a real improvement in gas or power or shifting like so many kits claim?

Ground kits don't "add" power. They improve the overall grounding of the electrical systems which reduces load and helps circuitry perform better.

Gauge wire for grounding systems has increased over the years, just look at any BC legacy vs a BL/BP.

I noticed a smoother idle as well. As for the other improvements, none really.

I went crazy with my grounding kit. I believe i have like over 8 wires roaming around my engine bay

I notice a smoother start up, idle fairly quiet...and my radio got louder!?

I noticed my hesitation almost completely disappear when I did mine.
