Autozone, Pep Boys...

They're just colored rubber hoses. Make sure you get the right internal diameter and at least a 3mm thick wall.

Don't buy them at autozone or pepboys. These sell plastic hoses. Akimoto used to sell kits, SILICONE hose kits is what you want. Not cheap plastic.

I found rubber hoses at Autozone in red and blue last week. They weren't plastic.

Stock is going to depend largely on the store... you could go to an industrial hose warehouse and see if they do different colors...

What kind of rubber hoses? You also can't have something flimsy. The vacuum can collapse cheap hoses, or just the wrong ones in general.

They were Goodyear branded... and were actually stamped for fuel, so I assume they're going to be decent for vacuum? They looked out of place though, but for sure I'd like color-coded lines in my engine bay so I know what crap is hot/cold.

well..... when i get my car back from having it worked on bc of the ac dealers charging/replacing the compressor for free :D i'll check the local autozone i know that advance doesn't carry it.

It's under the hood, everything is hot under there.

It was a joke

You said everything under the hood is hot and since a CAI has "COLD" in the name he said except for the COLD AIR INTAKE. Get it ?

Well I think that's what he meant
