I have a 98 leg...I was wondering if a set of tein's for a 02+ impreza would bolt on? If not what is the difference in design that would prevent them?

I know the gc8 suspension would bolt on...just wondering here...

Yes they'll bolt on. You may have to rotate the top-hats on the front... but they'll fit.
