claims to add 35hp and it also says 31% better gas mileage which for 70$ would be a aswome deal but im sure its way to good to be true

Popular Mechanics did a test on 6 of those eBay type things (including the turbinator) and they found (in controlled tests) that the turbinator was a restriction; it didn't hurt performance but they lost 10% on gas mileage.

None of the others worked either :? One of them almost cause an engine fire because the "capacitor block" didn't have any sort of capacitors in it and it fried :shock:

That PM article about the tornado and other bogus products was a good read. The golden rule to modifying cars is. The engineers who make them are not idots. When you make an upgrade you sacrifice somthing whether it be noise i.e. exhaust intake, fuel econemy, price, durability ect.
