I contacted someone who makes eyelids for cars. They are made of fiberglass. I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in them. It started out for 2nd gen guys but I will see if he will make them for other gens if theres enough interest. Don't ask for pics because these do not exist yet. It's pretty much hit or miss. If you want to check them out order them, if you don't like them sell them off. This will be a one time thing, no waiting to see what they look like.

Price shouldn't be too much, once I find out I will let you all know. My concern for me is the 2nd gen 1 piece, since I wanted to get these made for myself. But if we can get these made for anyone else cool.

I need 10+ people for each application. price range $42.00-$52.00 shipped

Wonder what the angle on them would be.. or.. do they have any other pics of cars they have made them for?

That is going to be the "risk" of joining. You may like them you may not. If not sell them.

Put me down for 2nd gen.

Whatever type it is, i will try and make it work... but i just hope its a regular horizontal one.

I'm waiting to see if I can get a design. I'll post up the pic and will take yes or no answers and will take payments soon after. Nobody orders without a payment. No back out, you will screw the people who want them.

Any word on getting the design?

The design for the BD is going to be fairly simple.

Hmm, this isn't going well.

To be honest, I don't like eyelids. But to support the cause, put me down for some.

I take it if you don't get 10 people, no money will be taken correct? I'm willing to try it out.

The shape of the 1-piece vs the 2-piece is the exact same.

There should be no issue with fitment

Insurance companies forced Subaru to start making 2-piece headlights to lower the cost of repair. I hate insurance.

+1 Reason that looks good!

Put me down for a second set!

I got a buddy with a 98 LGT who is intrested he has the 2-piece headlights but it shouldn't make a diff.

So thats 2-sets for me!

They aren't going to be made from vinyl. I'm not sure if they will fit the 2 piece but if you want to try it out go for it. If they don't work buy some JDM projectors or sell them :-)

alright put me down for a set i just thought sence the 1 pieces adjust the whole light. and the 2 peice just adjust the headlight and not the markers that they just might not fit right.. but if they dont ill just cut the eyelids to fit

on the 2 peice it accually adjust the whole assembly with the plastic. only the the 1 peice only adjust the reflector

Is this still going on?
I'm interested.. though I'd like to get my car working reliably before I start making it look pretty. What color do they come in?
How do they attach to the car?

I used to make them for 1st gen Altima's in both fiberglass and Plexi-glass (like the light covers). Reason: If this doesn't go through, let me know.

If you have 2 piece headlights, these WILL fit as both headlight systems are interchangeable.

Best way to mount them if you get them is to use 3M 2way tape. DO NOT HAVE THE INSIDE PAINTED. In the long run,it could break the bond between your mount and headlight causing the eyelids to lift and possibly loosing them.
