finding info on car..

I dunno if anyone has time left on carfax that they can look up a VIN for me (forgot to get it) but This Subaru has been sitting by a dock for over 4 months now.. long enough for me to start asking the people working at the place who's it is and what they want to do with it..

I don't know if it's able to start or not but it needs minor work like rear tail lights are cracked (JDM replace) and the front fog light has been shattered and front bumper has a small 1 inch round hole with the foam poking thu.

I sat inside and it has 153,096 miles on it and it's a 5MT

as soon as I can figure out how to get the pictures off my phone I will post them. the Reg on the car is good up until May 09 doors were unlocked....


A dead Subaru is not a happy Subaru :(

Its either a 97 or 98 Legacy Outback. It has a non turbo 2.5L with a 4.111 transmission and rear diff. Id say its worth about $3k-$4k. Id say offer them $1k for it and if they say no tell them you wont go more than $2k because it needs a lot of work and probably needs a good tune up which will cost a lot of money. Actually tell them that after asking for $1k and if they still don't bite then tell the $2k and nothing more cause it ain't worth more than that.

I got the VIN number just came back here all doors are unlocked rear left tire is losing air and the milage has not changed. Also the battery still works but it looks a little dim... I have some pictures
