what is the best type of air intake?...i see the ones that have the piping from the maf box to the fender and i see ones that are right above the maf box

so which one works better?

Going from the TB to your stock airbox with the snorkus still in the fender.

If you don't care if your car runs super rich under a certain RPM, then you can just run anything you want. I personally run a cone filter, no air box, but then I have to put up with bogging and noise.

I have a CAI and my car runs LEAN.

Not under 2,000 rpm it doesn't.

According to my gauge the only time it runs rich is at warm up.

use the stock intake box and change the tube from the maf to the TB & take out the silencer.. Cones just suck in Hot air lol
