Most wanted parts for BD's

Hey everyone,
I was wondering over the weekend. What is the most wanted parts for our cars. Specially parts that doesn't require mods or JDM. I'm doing some research for myself. I might bring this to someone's attention to see if we can get a better after market support ^_^

Rear Strut Tower Bar
Rear Lower Bar
Front Lower H/A Brace
BD specific Coilovers
Front Lips

Just some ideas

If the part can be made by modifying another subaru part, please include year and model of the car and how does it need to be moded to make it fit our cars. I might want to do it too ^_^

What I'm looking for is more/less a wish list, but from everyone and not only me

All of us know we suffer in the after market support department

From Exterior to Interiors from Handling to Power. We all wish it was easier for us to find parts.

Most of us have to get JDM parts or Mod a WRX or a GC part to make it fit for us.

I'm going to take this thread and I'm going to run the idea by some people and see if we can get a better after market support

My goal is after I get the BD supported, I'll move on to the BE. The BL's don't need my effort they have and will have enough support since they have the Turbo models.

There's not enough owners that mod their cars to get more aftermarket support. Christ I can't even get 10 people to go in on eyelids. It's something that will never happen, keep modding those other parts and be happy that they work for us lol

Whats even harder is finding stuff for the BG's. Looks like the easiest way to get parts is to order them from Japan even tho it may be more expensive.

Most of the JDM parts are for BG's, wagons are popular there.

I wish there were more options for struts & shocks. I also wish you could easily obtain progressive rate-springs. I just need to find a set of Bilsteins off an RS-B and I'll be set.

Everything else I want I can order. WL BD specific sway bars, alloy endlinks, ALK, FSB, aluminum control arms... my list goes on and on.

Forget it. The people that I was going to work with are asking too much from me fuck it. They want me to develop the product too. I just wanted to research and let them figure out how to make it. Well this was quick, but they do have this forum in there minds now since I told them where we hide. Hopefully that's enough to help us just a bit.

It's a good thought, but I agree with Reason, the reason that there are no aftermarket parts for Legacys is simply because there is no demand for them. If it were worth their time, I'm sure companies would produce parts for the Legacy.

Well I thought that I could run some ideas thru some people at some places would help us get some parts. Suspension, exhaust, ect. I thought I would be able to let them know what we needed and show them how much support we want and hopefully they would make us parts. They asked me to send them the parts. I decided not to. So we are SOL. We are going to depend on JDMLand for our parts.

At least now we have people in japan that we can get parts from ^_^

What exactly were you going to have made and from who. Maybe something can be done.

Theres one thing thats been "in the works" for a couple of years now, gauge faces.

That's one thing that would help us if more people jumped in on it. Plus the eyelid group buy. All inexpensive stuff that pretty much all of us can afford. If you try to push exhausts and crap it's too much money for some people. Besides exhaust shops can make things up for you already so that's not a big deal.

I don't understand why you would need parts mass produced for the BD. Since there are companies that do support the BD chassis.
