I am in the middle of my HG repair on my 97 LGT. Could anyone tell me the following:
head torque spec
Valve clearance
Flywheel/flexplate torque spec (BTW are these bolts reuasable>)
Once I finish this one I am going to do the HG job on my 98 Outback.
Thanks
Justin

I would really, REALLY, advise you to drop by Advance or Autozone and get a Haynes manual. It should have the specs you need. If not, then someone had a link to download a BD/BG era service manual in their signature...can't remember who. Sorry I'm not much more help.

And when you get the manual, pay CLOSE attention to the 8 step head torque sequence. Don't mistake ft/lbs for inch/lbs! And yes the bolts are reuseable. They "wind up" a lot upon removal, like a torsion bar, if you haven't gotten that far yet.
That's why it's a bad idea to try to post it, it's really a pain and you don't want to mess it up. The book is under $20.00 IIRC.
