O2 Sensor Question.

I have a 2005 4 Dr. Legacy with the regular 2.5 motor. My upstream/pre-cat sensor is erroring out. I am having a hell of a time trying to find this from the local automotive parts stores and even online. I have found a lot of unviersal types and was not sure how reliable these are. I was hoping someone could help guide me in the right direction. THanks.

OEM or you will go nuts. I went through the whole trying generic thing already. Unless someone has a P/N of one that works.....

I've used the generic ones on all my soobs. If you can make a decent wire splice, you should have no problem.

Did you even click the link? There's 5 types listed. Work out which one you need (Front/Rear, CalSpec/FedSpec, Nonturbo).

Sorry, I guess it was queried for 04 legacys so the only one it was showing was the 04-05 rear o2 sensor. Thanks for the help. I live in PA and the CA o2 sensor is 40 bucks cheaper. Is it work getting this and saving the money?

I would email your VIN# to the seller and ask them to verify which O2 sensor you need to get.
