OK.... so I headed off to Rally WV to crew for Scott Wilburn with his WRX.
My first time at a rally, had a blast, despite a disappointing weekend for us. Motor blew at the end of stage 2, not sure why yet. But anyways, heres some pics!

Being on a rally team is one of the things i gotta check off my list. Doing motorcycles now, SCCA club and Pro racing last year, a bunch of vintage stuff, and some ALMS stuff here and there. I've never even been to a rally.

My friend runs a shop where he builds/maintains cars. He also races himself, although he didnt run last weekend. I have spent plenty of time at the shop, but this was the first rally I went to. I had a blast, but because of the blown motor, we did far more spectating than crewing. My car came home dirtier than the rally car :(
It was interesting, after the stage was over, leaving the spectator point via the stage road, with the co-driver riding in my passenger seat giving me a sample of the stage notes!
I hope to have the time to go to Rally New York, in Monticello at the end of October... Lemanschamp, you should check it out!
