First off I don't know much about coil overs and was wondering what yall would recommend for offroading use. If yall could make a list for me that would be great. Also what do they mean when they say kits, is that all 4 or just for 1? Also how hard would it be to make taller top hats for them?

Honest question - did you search the forums before asking about coilovers?

^^ +1

Lift kits have been covered in many a thread. Heck, there aren't even that many pages, you could go though them one by one and it wouldn't that THAT long. Call the actual lift producers and ask them your questions, they'll have more advice for you than anyone here.

Also, proof you need to search and read more and post less is your 15 posts/day. That's a lot, slow it down, many of your questions have already been answered.

Well I had just figured that no one had asked about using coil overs in a lift and thats why I asked about that and the other questions I asked. I do apologize if it has already been covered and if I ask another question that has been asked could yall point me in the right direction so that the thread I started can be erased? Thanks.

I did a quick search for coil overs and didnt find anything about the stiffness of certain ones. I'm trying to find out info in each brand that I can get for my BG. Also looking for links to places that have them. Before joining this site I had no idea what coilovers were and just recently found out. Now I'm trying to find out the difference between all the different ones that I can get for my BG which is why I posted the question knowing that pretty sure there was no list on each one. So I'm sorry if I missed one thread that actually has the list and if so can yall point me to it? Thanks.

Here's what a search for "coilovers" found me in just a few minutes:

Coilovers + Offroad? (http://www.sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?t=9707&highlight=coilovers)

Possible Air suspension (http://www.sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?t=3519&highlight=coilovers)

Those would be two possibilities for LIFTING your outback, though I know Scorpion and King Springs both make lift kits iirc.

If you're looking for just a list of coilovers, you have the advantage of your suspension being (mostly) compatible with a bunch of different year Impreza's, which opens your options to pretty much any reputable suspension company I can think of. You would know this if you searched and read however, there were probably a good 25 threads that came up in my search alone. I would doubt any of these raise the car though.

Search more, post less. There's a treasure trove of information waiting for you.

Here is what google found for me in one search:

Offroad Subaru Forums (http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/index.php?page=offroad)

Hope this helps, now go READ.
