I'm about to buy a pair of these for my car, does anyone else run these or different oil catch cans that can give me some install or just general advice?

Thanks :smile:

Buy mFactory from Reason...support SL-i!

However, that ebay item is pretty nice, it has a level indicator on the outside which is pretty good.

You shouldn't need a pair, just one is enough.

*I'm still researching.

EJ20xTurbo = 1 is OK
EJ25xTurbo = need 2? Still checking

EJ25x NA = ?

I forgot shane had 'em too.

Yes I sell mFactory catch cans, they are a little more but the tank isn't thin and the hardware is most likely better than what they supply.

Technically all engines can run 2 catchcans, one for the rebreather lines from the crankcase covers and one for the pcv valve.

It's more popular with turbo charged cars because oil residue buildup on the intercooler can reduce the cooling efficiency.

PMed

I've done some reading on oil catch cans over on nabisco and it seems the best way to set them up is with a pair. One for the breather side and one on the PCV side.

Checked, 2 is reccomended for a high-output built engine. Mine is not. Shane, how much do you charge for the MFactory units and do you have any pics? :twisted:

On the E-Bay one it said it's "JDM" and "universal". How can something that's of the domestic market, be universal? Why advertise it as JDM, when it was just made in Japan? Anything for a sale I guess.

They put "JDM" on it dor the idiots who think "JDM" is a company..... We all know theres a few out there. I worked with some guy that had a boosted Accord and he thought JDM was a company. After laughing at him all night I broke the bad news to him.
