Mine was doing 14/16 psi totally stock except for an ancient HKS silent hi power.

...Then a big end bearing blew and i am now very poor

LOL!!! Just watched that vid (wasn't working on my other browser)

What a twat. he just disconnected the primary's boost control solenoid... so the primary will be free boosting... Bye bye primary turbo! This will almost certainly destroy your primary if you do it.

I tried the lil mod, i must say i went from 7/11 to 10/16 Whooooot!!!

its been over a year since the mod surfaced on uklegacy.com and not 1 complaint.

If anything blows up, i can get another one cheap cuz people practically five away EJ20R motors and turbos

Ugh yeah, boost spike isn't something you'd want to do to your motor

i didnt get a CEL 22 or anything, it feels so damn good though lol
when i get my altezza i am going to try some crap with this car

i found out how to run parallel, but i wont do it again untill i get a exteral oil cooler, Parallel turbos = the isht, top end sucks though... sorta  car kept going into limp mode allot though :(

Ooo. Does it do rev related boost control like the AVC-R? Cause that's what you need. F*** all those other rangi mods (er, sorry, NZ slang, rangi=ghetto), all your TT needs to be opened up is a GOOD boost controller, and the zerosports sequential controller. Chuck on a good exhaust, nice top mount, or FMIC, and a ZS intake with a good panel filter, and you have perfect TT. If you want anymore than that... you know what you must do :p

Ooo. Does it do rev related boost control like the AVC-R? I think so.

no i am not going single lol

i am actually looking to raise compression a little and bolt on a supercharger and run high psi. =[ (trying to figure out a EMS to use)

i already have my Z/S controller hooked up but i dont think its saving my settings =[ either way its a big difference from my 500rpm dead valley.

i hate being like everyone else, so i am trying something different.

Yeah, it would appear that everyone else wants to be single turbo now, so sticking to twin and making something out of it is something special.

And you don't want to raise the compression, you want to lower it!! Raising compression means you have to run lower boost. If you want LOTS of boost, you gotta rebuild your bottom end and stick some nice low compressions pistons in there. I've got JE 8.5:1 pistons in my short block, and my builder (he builds rally engines :D) says it can take 25psi easy. The downside to low compression is S**T performance off boost. BUT, you have something to negate that... a primary turbo. My car off boost has about as much power as a moped, it's quite comical.

Also, if you want more and stronger boost, the VF26/27 combo is rated as the best pair you can get for our legacy's. Get those in there and you'll blow your big end's in no time! (good thing, means you can rebuild with those low compression forged pistons!)

I forgot what you have done to your car btw, what's happening under the hood at the moment?

nothing really, its pretty much stock, besides removal of a/c components.

i am thinking of keeping the stock twin combo but raise the compression a bit but still keep stock boost, i am getting 11pounds for some reason :-( . i am going to be scrapping the legacy for parts to build my Cuircuit GF8 wagon.

Build thread here.
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=12749 (https://sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=12749)

Im not looking for big power, the cuircuit now is only about 2 miles long the streight away being 1/8 of a mile. my car hits about 140km on the 1/8 (not from o) could be more but i didnt pressure it too much because my tyres suck and my abs keep locking up when i try to brake hard from high speeds (soon remove that POS).

so all in all my goals is low end tq and great midrange, going parallel is perfect but the car keeps going into limp mode after a bout 10mins of racing thats why i want the power FC

I dont want to go single because then i would be wasting oney on go fast parts instead of handling parts plus i hate to be like everyine else. i might just keep the engine stock for mow or untill it blows up.

Going parallel on the twin turbo is just pure fail for so many reasons... and you can't do it with the stock ECU either. You should know why this is. Your best bet really is to stay sequential.

i am going to stay seq, but i said i am going to get a power fc, i should be able to go parallel.
my decisions at the moment = ?
