Before I bought the Legacy, this was my family's only car. I couldn't leave it alone though

Nothing special, just a 2004 Mazda MPV LX, bought brand new in 04.

Stuff done to it -
-Seat covers!
-gold paint calipers!
-front window ventshades!
-Leather wrapped steering wheel cover
-Auto-dimming rearview mirror/compass/Homelink
-Extra sound deadening
-Hayden transmission cooler
-Pioneer MP3/USB/CD/Bluetooth HU
-Pioneer speakers all around
-KC Front driving lights
-KN panel filter
-Hawk HPS front pads
-Recaro SE driver's seat (cause he's the only one that matters)
-Voglangt Lowering springs, KYB Excel-G struts/shocks, Whiteline front camber bolts.
-MX-5 17x7 wheels on generic all seasons

Yes, the van is also victim to my wheel whoring.

That's actually not bad for a minivan. Hey you need to truck the kids around some how.

I haven't bothered to JDM it up like some of the guys in the MPV forum

It's a minivan, what can I say? The saving grace of this particular one I guess is that it's the last of what I would consider a real "mini"van. And it drives exactly like a tall car.

I don't know if I'm the only one that has noticed by the all of the minivans over the years have just gotten fatter and bigger to the point that I think the new Odysseys and Sienna's are the size of some small full-sized vans.

GG lazy engineering.

well, errr, well, we own a minivan too. Yours looks really good with the accents. Too bad they stopped making the MPV and went to the Mazda 5.

I think our Chrysler Town & Country is faster than my Subaru.

As far as minivans go, I'll wait for the Subaru Exiga if I absoleutly have to have one.

We're have our first child just recently and we definitely didn't need the minivan for just her. My mother is disabled now and it makes life a lot easier getting her in & out of the vehicle with the minivan. Open up the side door, give her a little push and she falls right into the seat! Just kidding, well sorta.

The BH is also the family hauler, and the motorcycle hauler. I gotta get a utility trailer this weekend instead of the borrowed motorcycle trailer.

Recaro's bitches! Or rather, one recaro  I tested out my mig welder by making a seat base for a recaro SE seat I was originally planning to reupholster and mount in the legacy...but that ended in a wash.

Got a lot of stuff done on the van since I last posted a pic of it...

Latest has been the Voglandt/KYB lowering spring and shock setup I put in last month - just settled in.

Here it is on MX5 wheels (fronts need a 3mm spacer to clear brakes)
