If you get JDM headlights with projectors do you have to retrofit to have hids?, or can you just buy hids for the jdm lights?

Depending on what year your legacy is? I have a BD with HID in my JDM projectors. its not true projector meant for HIDs, but it works and just as bright...but still you can see glare from the lights on opposite directions..just have to aim the headlights.

yeah, buy a plug and play HID kit and you're all set

BE CAREFUL

You might get harassed by HeresMyMind because you are buyin a PnP kit - JOKE

Yeah if you want true HID's check out HeresMyMind's car.

If you don't care for TRUE HID's like my friend 2.5GT and I then get yourself a PnP kit and you'll be all set

lol true about HeresMyMind...

the left headlight (looking at the front) will aim far into the left lane (hitting traffic) and with it adjusted as far as it will go to the right it still would point too far over into incoming traffic.

did I hear my name? yes you can put a hid kit into ur jdm projectors. and yes it is a lot safer than putting it into reflector housings. When Ant gets a free night Me and him will take comparison pics of lights. also JDM projectors have a right hand drive cutoff. meaning the step goes up to the left making it hard to aim without blinding oncoming traffic. and if u do lower them enough the right side of the beam will be too low on the ground. read up on my write up.
