Since I plan to take out the back seats permanently and it doesn't get that cold in Texas that often I would like to remove the rear floor vents and plug them up. anyone know how to do it?

They are a pain in the arse if you're talking about the ones that run under the passenger and driver seat.

They come apparet under the seat there is a seem there, you just have to look really close there is a staple holding them together. once those little sections are out you can then remove the larger pipe off the hvac...

But as far as plugging it up...good luck it's just going to blow air under your carpet...however these vents are also used for AC and there for would be great to use in Texas since it's all ways balls hot there

to take the rear floor vents out you need to take all the bottom trim out, remove all seat, center console, and the carpet. then you can remove the vents

to get them out just use a thin blade on a grinder its not the most elegant thing to do but its a whole bunch simpler and to plug them perminatelly you could just use some fiberglassing mat and fiberglass resin 2 coats around the end and itll never have a problem again
