View Full Version : Need help with Pod filter.

Hello i'm new to Subaru world, just got a Subaru B4 RSK twin turbo 1999, ive just install a pod filter, has been running good for about 1 day now, but this morning i had low rpm and wouldnt go over 120ks(i live in New Zealand) and it drops down to 3000RPM and max RPM i can get it to is 5000 :cry: has it got somethink to do with the pod or is it my turbo?

Have you tried searching on www.clubsub.org.nz (http://www.clubsub.org.nz)?
They might be more help, as the RSK is far more common there than over on SLi.
However - check to make sure you have all the intake vacuum hoses hooked up, nothing is pinched or disconnected.
Do you have a Check Engine Light on? What's your boost pressure?
Pod filters can make the RSK's run a little off - because of the additional flow the car may need a tune or ECU reset.
RPM or speed limit sounds like the ECU has put itself into limp mode to prevent any excessive damage...

Thanks for help! ive just put the standand filter back on it go's 180ks easy and good rpm and alot better boost! so yea maybe pod filter are no good for RSK's
