I didnt mean to be misleading, the car is not ALL jdm. He has jdm pieces here and there, which is why in the title I said "jdm Flavor". He has the grill, fogs, off the japanese bd, and the wheels are off a v4 sti impreza from japan. I dont think they were subaru option wheels, but they are rays :grin:

And yes he is rockin the home depot lip.

my bd is a bd9 :razz:. the # has to do with the option pack it came with as the other 3 numbers after it. on the chassis tag#

idk why mines stamped 9 because the 2.5 n/a are 6's 2.2 n/a are 4's 2.0t imprezas a 8's and 2.0t legacys are 5's.. so whats the 9?

My L is a BD6 :razz:. Its because in 1995 they did not offer the 2.5l engine. The 2.2 was the biggest offered for '95. Not to get off topic, your friend's BD is beautiful... makes me wish I would have never added the GT rear spoiler

I like the front bumper cover and the dip in it for the grill. All in all, good work in putting together a nice looking car. BD6/5/4/3/2 or 1.... whatever model, still looks good.

Is this new bd5 bumper you are installing from a usdm legacy? Because I know he had a hard time fitting those fogs in his bumper which is udsm. He had to do a lot of hacking to the backside of the bumper cover.

I'm looking for the fogs to work like they currently do basically.. when the lights are on.. and you press the fog button.. they go on.. when highbeams are on.. they are off..

and i suppose the side lights can come on with the parking light, or.. i dunno... not sure how they should work.

Dude we covered that for you already. You just have to get in there and start wiring.

Yeah.. im gonna start pulling shit apart and wiring that i dont understand.. dont think so. I'd like to find some more info on stuff before I go in there unprepared and mangle some wires. haha.

Oh my sweet lord! I officially love this section...so much inspiration! 1st and 3rd pics are pretty sweet. Stock, these things don't look that great, but lower it, put some nice wheels on, and add a lip spoiler and you're really starting to go somewhere. Tell your friend congrats on having a car that we all dream about owning.

I'm think he only got the side led lights working, and could not get the projectors to work. He might have gotten them working recently tho, his pops is a brainiac when it comes to wiring so he has some good help with the wiring headaches. I also know he has another switch that he hooked up other than the foglight switch so he can interchange between side lights and projectors.
