Alright well i searched and i couldnt find any tips on removing the snorkus/silencer on my 03. All I found were from later models where the intake is set up all different. Im sure its pretty obvious (or im just that dumb) but can someone please explain to me the removal process on my 03??? pretty please!!!!
Here's a pic of what im looking at...Is it one of these two boxes that kind of hang down???

Its both. You can take out everything up to the airbox behind your engine. All of it is either silencers or air tubing. You may consider just replacing everything with a pipe to the fender well and still keeping your original air filter....like so.

Ok, how would i go about closing up those holes left in the tubing then???
I still havent decided what i want to do, cold air to the fender or just do a short ram and keep the collector duct type thing that collects the air from the grill area ORRR what you have done, which seems like a nice combo between both. Are you running a K&N filter then??? But for now i just want to remove the silencers...till i can figure out what i want to do.

There is one extra hole you will have on the bottom if you pull it off. You don't need to plug it since it will just be an extra hole for your intake to get air from. Remember, you filter is in the box after the silencers and so is your map sensor. Otherwise tape it shut if you really insist.
Ye with the setup you see I had K&N drop in in the box.
