I bought a set of tires for my wife's "now departed" Forester. We pick up the Legacy tomorrow and before I spend some $$ mounting those tires on wheels I'd like to get an idea of how well they'll fit if anyone has done so before.

stock GT size is 205/55/16, so those tires (assuming 16" wheel) are
1.3% larger, so when your speedo is 60mph, you'll be going 60.8mph.

But they'll fit just fine. Should provide a cushy ride with the bigger profile.

Perfect, these are going on the L which at the moment has something like 195/65/14's. I'd just hate to have perfectly good set of rubbers in the garage going unused.

I ran it on my stockers...and it rub in the back struts..mainly the back struts were temper with. other than that, it fills up the wheel well pretty good

How much does it rub, only on hard bumps or frequently? Got any pics?

it rubs near the bottom of the perch..nothing a hammer couldn't fix

no really, i took my rear suspension off a couple of times..and didn't line it up correctly..so it sits kinda awkward position..where it "pokes" out a little. so i think that's why it rub against my tires.
