Does anyone know if there's a difference between a 96 2.2 outback vs lets say a 97 2.5 outback in swaybar size?

no different 96-99 is same part number

Yeah, i'm petty sure the 2.2 outbacks have the smaller sways. Probably 19f 14r.

Part # means little when deaing with subaru sometimes, I learned that te hard way.

idk.. the 2.2 outback for 96 are only in the 5 speed the auto's have 2.5.. so i cant say for sure
