The daughters 1998 Outback all of a sudden has the parking lights on. The keyless remote works but the dash lights flash on when touching either the lock or unlock buttons. The doors lock and unlock. I can't get the parking lights to shut off! Any suggestions???!!!

Theres a switch on top of the steering column that turns the parking lights on.

anyone notice that switch is gone in all 08 models?

Thanks for your help. Lights are off now. Daughter has no idea how lights got turned on! Thanks again.

pretty sure that's why they got rid of the switch for the 08 model year.. I never used the switch at all... most of the time it comes on by cleaning the dash or reaching to reset the trip counter.
