Hey guys, new to the forum. I just recieved a 2000 legacy L. Its got 42k on it and it was my grandfathers car,(went out and bought a new one). Anyways he got into a fender bender and the front bumper, lights, both fenders and hood all need to be replaced. The accident wasnt bad, but the whole front end has gone to shit so its time to be replaced. Ive been searching the site and just wanted to confirm that the baja hood will fit without midification. And i also wanted to know if i bought the gt lights from a later model, if they would just plug in or would the wires have to be spliced. Thanks for all the help.

Welcome. I have the same year and model.

Any 00-04 Legacy GT or Outback headlights will fit. I found my pair from an 03 Outback. You will need to splice the three wires and connect them.

Go with an 04 Baja Turbo hood for safe measure.

what a coincidence, I had the same exact accident with my 03 and out of it came out a baja hood, gt headlights, and a new bumper :).

thank you guys so much. I looked under the DIY section and saw the splicing for the JDM lights. Is it the same for the GT lights? Does it matter what year gt lights i purchase? (Is there any year that will fit with a baja hood better than others?

Its not the same for JDM and GT. Make sure its 00-04 gt headlights. The baja hood year doesn't matter just make sure its a BAJA TURBO HOOD and also the piece that goes into it. Its 2 pieces.
