bd legacy mirror interchangable ?

Hi, I was wondering besides the 95 model, what other years of legacy or any subaru model have the foldable mirror that is interchangable with the bd/bg legacy ?

95-97 fold, 98-99 do not fold, but they will bolt right up and exchange with each other.

Legacy and Outback are the same.

My 97 OB Limited doesn't have folding mirrors....

OB's didn't get folding mirrors.. they got the GT mirrors BUT with the heated package (if optioned).

The 97 GT and OB have the fixed mirrors, not sure about the L.

Weird - guess there may not be a clear pattern then. I pulled a folding mirror off of a 1997 Legacy L wagon at a junkyard, so I assumed 98 was the changeover since my 98 does not fold.

^^ could have been an earlier manufacture date for 97...

Basic rule of thumb is pre-97 folding, post-98 fixed, 97-98 mixed.

Wait... so there are heated mirrors that'll bolt right up to a BD?

They'll bolt up, but you'll need the wire harness from all-weather package to get them to work.

Yet another reason to get an OBS and just lower it. ;)
