you just have to heat up the rubber of the housing and put everything back together.

You dont have to use anything to seal it back UNLESS you are really concern that you might not have enough rubber to enclose the housing...you can use silicone

Just put the oven on a low temperature for 10-15 minutes and keep an eye on them. At a low temp (I did mine at like 150 I think) they won't burn or melt in that amount of time.

hrm im gonna have to look harder but i didnt see anything that involved an oven when clearing headlights. Maybe im looking for the wrong thing?

I should ask before looking more..this can be done to a 97 GT right?(sedan)

we preheat the oven with 200F

1) take all the screws out, put the headlights in for 8 mins and try to loosen the plastic
2) put the headlights in again for another 5 mins
3) if necessary, you can put it in again for 3 mins
4) take out the orange piece
5) put everything back together but dont put the screws back in yet and put it in the oven for about 5 mins
6) now you can put the screws back in and try to push everything back together.
7) put it back in the oven for another 5 mins..then you should be good to go
